HG5000 Aluminum QL5000 Joint Set (2)
The QL5000 drive couplings have been out of production for several years now and even finding good used ones has proved difficult recently. While going back to the original rubber crossbones may have been an option, it wasn't a very good one.
Heritage Garage has the answer. We have developed our own version with alloy caps to keep the weight down but these will not distort like the plastic versions were prone to doing.
We have been installing them in our own workshop for a few years now as part of our product development with excellent results. They install using your original U bolts, but being a more precision part than the plastic cupped version, care must be taken to get proper alignment.
Sold as a pair, pre assembled with new universal joints.
